Spring (March – May)
- Attractions reopen — boat tours, White Water Walk and the Aero Car restart for the season (typically April).
- Blossom season — Niagara Parks gardens and orchards bloom in May.
- Fireworks season opens mid-May with the Victoria Day long weekend.
Summer (June – August)
- Nightly 10 p.m. fireworks over the Falls — schedule & viewing spots.
- Canada Day (July 1) and Independence Day (July 4) — extended fireworks and huge crowds on both sides.
- Free concerts and outdoor events in Queen Victoria Park on many summer evenings.

Fall (September – November)
- Harvest & wine festivals in Niagara wine country — plan a Niagara-on-the-Lake day.
- Last fireworks of the summer series: Monday, October 12, 2026 (Thanksgiving).
- Halloween haunts on Clifton Hill all October.

Winter (December – February)
- Winter Festival of Lights — over 3 million lights and 8 km of displays through Queen Victoria Park, Dufferin Islands and the tourist district, with a hot chocolate trail and weekly laser shows. Full guide.
- Friday & Saturday fireworks at 8 p.m. through December.
- New Year’s Eve — a big outdoor celebration and midnight fireworks at Queen Victoria Park.
- Icewine Festival in January — tastings, outdoor bars and ice sculptures in wine country.
